Procuros raises €20 million for AI trade infrastructure

XAnge leads a Series A for supply chain data connections that support automated trade.

Listen to this article

Procuros has raised a €20 million Series A led by XAnge, the investor announced on October 6. W23, Point Nine, Creandum and b2venture also participated.

Connecting the trading network

The Hamburg company connects suppliers and retailers so they can exchange consistent data across different systems and formats. XAnge positions that infrastructure as a foundation for AI agents operating across business trading networks.

The investor reports more than 300 customers and over €3 billion in annualized order volume. That volume describes activity on the network rather than company revenue.

Procuros plans to use the funding to develop its infrastructure and expand across Europe and the United States. The announcement provides no independent measurement of how accurately its agents complete transactions.

For buyers, the practical question is whether a new system can preserve correct order data across trading partners and make failures visible. More automated activity increases the importance of knowing who can approve or correct a transaction.

The same operational concern appears in our coverage of permissions for warehouse AI agents, where different tasks receive different levels of authority.
