Hermes Mobile beta opens iOS and Android sign-up routes

Nous Research has an official Hermes Mobile beta page with separate entry points for iOS and Android. The iOS link leads to a TestFlight invitation named โHermes Agent – Mobileโ; the Android link leads to Firebase App Distribution and requires Google sign-in. This is a beta enrollment route, not evidence that Hermes has reached general availability in either app store.
The official landing page invites visitors to reserve a beta spot. It does not promise an immediate download for every visitor.
Where the beta links lead
- iOS: The official page links to Appleโs TestFlight invitation. We verified the invitationโs app name, but not remaining places or successful installation.
- Android: The official link opens Firebase App Distribution. We stopped at sign-in, so the build version, device requirements and enrollment outcome remain unverified.
A phone interface does not tell you where the agent runs
Hermes already supports several ways to reach an agent. Its general documentation describes local and remote deployment, messaging integrations, persistent memory and scheduled tasks. Those are capabilities of the broader agent system, not a verified feature list for this mobile beta.
The landing page does not explain pairing, the need for an existing agent or the controls exposed on the phone. It also does not establish offline execution or on-device inference. Those requirements need mobile-specific documentation.
Android users should also distinguish this invitation from Hermesโ existing Termux support. The documented Termux route is an aarch64 prerelease package with its own installation and background-process limitations. It is not the same distribution route as the newly observed Firebase invitation.
What is known about cost
The mobile page does not disclose app-specific pricing. Core Hermes Agent is open source, but that does not establish that inference, hosting or every mobile feature is included at no charge.
Separately, Nous Researchโs October 27 subscription announcement says new plans include one Cloud agent and apply daily, weekly and monthly usage limits. API-key requests and additional Cloud agents use pay-as-you-go credits. These are broader service terms, not a verified mobile-beta entitlement.
What to check before joining
Start from the official mobile page, check current invitation eligibility and read the buildโs setup instructions. This is an enrollment announcement, not a hands-on review or a fully documented consumer release.
