Antigravity CLI removes Windows sandbox admin requirement
Version 1.2.17 makes sandboxed commands easier to run

Google released Antigravity CLI 1.2.17 on October 5. Its release notes say Windows sandboxed commands now run without administrator rights, and Python, Git and npm work inside the sandbox without extra setup.
Sandbox controls still matter
The documentation says CLI sandboxing is off by default. Users must enable it, and network access stays limited to approved domains. Commands that leave the sandbox require approval unless an existing rule allows them.
Google still documents a separate Windows permission system. The release notes do not establish compatibility with every managed workplace computer or independently tested security guarantees.
Service notices reach the prompt
The update also adds dismissible cards for model launches, deprecations and service notices. Windows ARM64 and x64 downloads are listed with the release.
