What to know
Verified university students in the United States and Canada can claim $100 in Codex credit, equal to 2,500 ChatGPT credits. The credit extends Codex usage beyond the allowance in a ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus or Pro plan.
Applicants must attend an eligible degree granting university in the US or Canada and reside in either country when claiming. Verify through SheerID with a university email while signed in to the intended ChatGPT account. Only one offer is available per student, and eligibility cannot be transferred to another account after verification.
Credits expire 12 months after the grant date. No campaign claim deadline is published. These credits apply to Codex rather than the OpenAI API and do not change the renewal cost of an existing paid ChatGPT subscription.
Current students at eligible degree granting universities in the US or Canada who also reside in the US or Canada when claiming. SheerID verification with a university email and a ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus or Pro account are required.
United States and Canada. Both enrollment and residence requirements apply.
