Vocca raises $20 million to expand healthcare AI agents
Norrsken leads a Series A for AI agents that handle medical appointments and routine patient calls.

Vocca announced a $20 million Series A on October 6, led by Norrsken VC. Heal Capital, Speedinvest and Firstminute Capital also participated in the round for its healthcare administration AI platform.
Scheduling behind the voice
Norrsken describes an assistant that answers calls, books and reschedules appointments, sends reminders and handles routine requests. Its scheduling engine connects with existing practice software and accounts for the rules of different medical specialties.
Vocca says it now serves 15,000 practitioners across 1,500 practices in the United States and Europe, up from 2,000 practitioners a year earlier. It reports more than one million inbound conversations each month.
The company says it resolves an average of 70 percent of conversations without human involvement. That is a company reported operating measure, not an independent evaluation of accuracy or patient safety.
The funding will support more specialties, additional communication channels and deeper scheduling capabilities, alongside further expansion in the United States.
For practices assessing these systems, completed bookings and reliable handoffs to staff matter alongside the quality of the voice. A convincing conversation alone does not establish that an appointment was handled correctly.
