Faraday Future reports September robot sales and shipments of 265

The combined company metric leaves paid sales and completed deployments unclear.

Listen to this article

Faraday Future reported 265 robotics device sales and shipments for September in chief executive YT Jiaโ€™s October 4 video update. Its October 5 transcript puts the third quarter total at 575 and the cumulative figure from late February through September at 817.

What the figures leave open

The company combines sales and shipments without separating paid sales, deliveries, customer acceptance or revenue. It gives no product mix or customer breakdown for September.

Faraday also reports more than 100 signed developers and developer partners. Those partnerships are a separate measure from customers using deployed robots.

The release acknowledges reliance on Chinese manufacturers for its robotics products. Assessing adoption still requires evidence of completed deployments and sustained use.

ByteForward has not independently audited the figures.

Related reporting covers SafeWorldโ€™s robot safety testing plans.
