Nous Research raises $90 million to expand Hermes into business

Nous Research says it has raised $90 million as it develops a business offering around Hermes Agent. Its named investors include NVIDIA, Microsoft’s M12, Samsung and several venture firms.
The company describes Hermes for Businesses as a way for organizations to choose models and retain control over their intelligence systems. The announcement presents that offering as work ahead, rather than establishing a general availability launch.
Hermes Agent itself is older. Nous says it released the software under the MIT license in February. The new financing therefore supports expansion of an existing agent ecosystem.
