What to know
Azure for Students provides $100 in credit to use within 12 months on eligible Azure services, with no credit card required. Selected free service allowances are included, with some reserved for new Azure customers.
Applicants must be at least 18 and enrolled full time at an accredited two year or four year degree granting institution. Verify with an academic email. Online course platforms and commercial professional training do not qualify. One student subscription is allowed per person.
There is no published claim deadline, but activations are limited. Credit cannot pay for Marketplace products or several separately licensed services. If credit runs out, services are disabled unless you choose to upgrade to paid billing. Eligible students can renew annually. The terms describe educational and noncommercial research uses and impose service quotas.
