Today and your account
Will I get a Claude reset today?
There is no guaranteed extra reset today. Check back later for new announcements. Your normal allowance follows the reset times shown in your own Claude account.
When does my normal Claude usage reset?
For Claude Pro, the session allowance resets every five hours. Open Settings and then Usage to check your account’s limits and next reset time.
When does my weekly Claude limit reset?
Claude Pro has a weekly allowance with a fixed reset day and time assigned to your account. Check Settings and then Usage for your next reset.
Does a Claude reset restore both my session and weekly limits?
Read the offer. A Claude limit reset restores either the session allowance or the weekly allowance shown, so do not assume both are included.
Using a Claude reset
How do I use an available Claude limit reset?
In Claude on the web or Desktop, open Settings and then Usage. Choose Reset for free and confirm. Check what the offer covers first.
Can I redeem a Claude reset inside Claude Code or the mobile app?
Use Claude on the web or Desktop to redeem it. The restored account allowance also applies to Claude Code and mobile.
Will a Claude bonus reset change my usual weekly reset time?
Anthropic says your normal weekly reset stays on its usual day and time after you use a limit reset.
Can an unused Claude reset expire?
Check the expiry shown in Usage. An unused reset is also lost if you downgrade or cancel before using it.
Usage and access
Will a Claude reset refund extra usage I already paid for?
A reset does not refund previously billed extra usage or change your usage credit balance.
Does starting a new chat reset my Claude usage limit?
Starting a new chat does not replenish your account allowance. Conversation length and account usage are different limits. A fresh chat can reduce unnecessary context, but the usage window still applies.
Do Claude and Claude Code share my usage allowance?
When you use Claude Code through your Claude subscription, usage shares your account allowance with Claude on the web and Desktop. Separate Console API billing is outside the Pro subscription.
Will everyone receive a reset listed on this page?
Eligibility varies. Check the announcement and your own account for an available offer.
Reading the reset tracker
Does the Claude reset timer tell me when the next reset is due?
The timer measures time since the latest tracked reset announcement, including a banked grant. Past gaps cannot guarantee the timing of a future announcement.
Why are Claude limit changes listed separately from resets?
A policy change can change the allowed amount without refilling usage. The tracker separates those entries from reset announcements so a limit change does not inflate the reset total.
Is this an official Anthropic tracker that can see my account?
ByteForward displays public announcement records from the independent Claude Resets project. This page cannot see your remaining allowance, your eligibility or whether you have already used a reset.
Does a blank calendar day prove there was no Claude reset?
A blank day is not proof. Check the coverage and freshness labels. The source may be incomplete or delayed, and calendar dates use UTC. Check back later for new records.
