Oracle Fusion Claw adds governed execution for business agents
Oracle says 25 applications use Fusion Claw to combine AI reasoning with controlled execution

Oracle introduced Fusion Claw on September 29, a runtime for executing work inside its Fusion business applications. The company says 25 applications using the runtime are available.
How the runtime works
Oracle separates model reasoning from deterministic computation for execution. Its Enterprise Operating Envelope defines organizational limits, while an Outcome Trust Harness applies controls to individual runs. An Outcome Receipt records evidence, decisions and executed actions. Customers choose the automation level within delegated authority.
Where it could be useful
Oracleโs capability documentation describes Ledger examining account activity and highlighting issues before close. Gross Margin Explorer investigates changes across price, volume, cost and mix. Shipment Load Planning compares feasible loads against equipment, forecast volumes and operational constraints.
The CPQ migration capability previews how configuration changes could affect production pricing, bills of materials, approvals and workflows. Oracle describes a graph that traces downstream effects so administrators can examine risks while changes remain in test.
Test the boundaries before expanding access
Our recommendation is to start with one planning task whose inputs and expected result a team already understands. Include an exception that should require human approval. Check whether the resulting record explains the decision, identifies the authority used and matches the changes actually made. Measure review time and incorrect actions alongside successful completions before widening permissions.
Confirm access and commercial terms with Oracle before planning a rollout. ByteForward has not tested Fusion Claw or independently validated its governance controls.
